Setting Up SRL 4!

Information:
This guide was created for members to know how to setup the latest SRL version and Subversion Repository. This guide is a replacement to the outdated thread originally created by StarBlaster100.

VISTA:
Do you have Windows Vista and you're getting errors when using/installing SRL 4? Then Click Here to go to the right thread on how to fix your problem.

Requirements:
SRL Subversion Installation File - By Tigris
Latest SCAR Divi Version

Method:
1) Download and Install SCAR Divi CDE.
2) Download and Install Subversion Repository Setup.
3) Once both have been installed, open SCAR Divi CDE.
4) Go to the File menu:


5) Then select Download SRL:
6) Once finished downloading, go to the Tools menu:


7) Then select Options:


8)Go to the SRL Download Tab:


9) Check the Subversion Repository radio button:


10) Select Checkout:


11) If any popup windows appear, select either Yes or Ok to them.
12) You should now have the latest SRL Subversion installed.

when i go to the SRL tab on options it onny has option of: Regular Download

i've downloaded the subversion but i cant install due to parental controls cuz i need admin but i don't have

It has nothing to do with SRL, you need subversion to check out from a subversion repository, if you can't install subversion then you can't use the subversion support in SCAR, however, you can just use the regular SRL download option which downloads the same files as found in the subversion repository, but without using subversion, they're automated backups created by my server and they're always updated.

I did exactly as you said and 1/2 way through [checkout] it came up with a message saying "couldn't move the plugins from the SRL folder to the plugins folder" Then whhen i went to run a script it said: Include file C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.15\includes\SRL\SRL.scar does not exist.
Failed when compiling

sorry just to say remember with the new scar divi 8.20b(i think) theres new interface/tabs so you may want to update for people which might not realise and not want to change things withou guidence

Okay i have done all this long before but my computer was cleaned so i have to do this agian.
I have done all steps and looked through the forums for awhile now. I keep getting a pop-up box
saying, "Couldn't move the plugins fromt he SRL folder to the plugins folder." And yes i have tried doing it manually.
What do you suggest?

i think you need to get the newest version of the SRL snapshots which will have the plugins and extract the thing and move those plugins to the plugin folder and uninstall SRL svn and re-install it... if that doenst fix then idk

P.S. this is just a wild guess so dont be supprised if it doenst work

By that meaning uninstall subversion?  If i got you right. I got the newest of the snapshots and moved the
one folder i need to move to the plugins folder then tried to check out and still same answer. Did i get what you said
right or did it not just work. Any ideas?
